Russell is a charismatic and influential coach and leadership developer.
Russell brings to his clients extensive experience in leadership and management, strategic planning, business analysis, staff development and training, public speaking, public relations and mentoring.
Based in Sydney, Russell began his professional career as a high school teacher of Japanese, German, Italian and English for Speakers of Other Languages before moving into educational leadership roles in the mid-90s.
His amassed achievements as an educator, business development manager, faculty manager and director have yielded lucrative opportunities and partnerships—including steering multi-million dollar government training tenders and projects and establishing the Global Career Academy in partnership with the Benesse Corporation to recruit Japanese international students to TAFE NSW.
From 2011 to 2015 he was Director of St George College in Sydney, one of the largest TAFE colleges in NSW with 10,000 students, 600 staff and 24 diverse teaching sections.
Russell is a seasoned negotiator, facilitator and networker. Today, Russell’s expertise in both education practice and leadership benefits his coaching clients richly—empowering them to hone their people leadership and business enabling capabilities.
Russell’s impressive credentials in language and business education have recently been enhanced by the completion of a Graduate Certificate in Organisational Coaching and a Graduate Certificate in Applied Business from Swinburne University as well as accreditation in Myers Briggs Type and Genos Emotional Intelligence Assessment and are supercharged by his rare ability to personally influence and inspire his clients, colleagues and stakeholders.
